Τhe Cape Sounio Grecotel Exclusive Resort will hold the top gastronomic event in the framework of the Greek-Russian Year of Tourism, from October 22 to October 24, ANA reports.
The Russian Gastronomic Week takes place for the fourth consecutive year by the Moscow International Winegastronomic Center in cooperation with the UN World Tourism Organization and with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture, the Greek Ministry of Tourism, the Greek National Tourism Organization , as well as other leading Russian and Greek professional organizations.
A series of events will be organized with three unique “tasting experiences” that promise to activate all senses on October 23 and 24, 2018.
Cape Sounio | Programme of actions in the framework of the Russian Gastronomic Week
- Dinner with Russian flavours of the Krasnodar region and Moscow
- 23 & 24 October 2018, 19.00-22.00
- Dinner with Russian-flavored dishes. Dinner costs € 45 on the first day and € 38 on the second, including drinks.

- Culinary summit “Russia-Athens”

Culinary summit “Russia-Athens” in which two well-known chefs, Sakis Tzanetos, Executive Chef Cape Sounio from Greece and Andrey Matiukha from Russia will each cook one main dish from the local cuisine of the other chef’s country. The whole process will be interactive, with the main presenter asking them about their country’s cuisine, trends and gastronomic innovations in their kitchen, as well as their experiences. A five-member committee of two Russians and two Greek gastronomy experts and one volunteer from the audience will taste the dishes and evaluate them. All participants will savor the two recipes.
