What are the common dynamics that define European culture? How can we encourage young professionals to come together in networks and develop internationally? How do we create new spaces of creation and discussion, with what economic model and for what social work? These are some of the questions that will be discussed at the European Lab Delphi Forum hosted by the European Cultural Center of Delphi in Central Greece.
The two-day forum, held on October 12 and 13, aims to make the connections required to demonstrate just how vital European culture can be when it emerges from the collision of its diverse component parts. Taking place at the European cultural center of Delphi, this forum will shine a light on the sociocultural fabric of today’s Greece, by highlighting both shared dynamics and isolated instances of creative resistance.
With this belief that culture creates ties and common destinies, European Lab Delphi mobilizes new cultural project leaders, proposes tangible tools, and creates a space of pluralist debate devoted to future culture. The forum is aimed at an audience of artists, filmmakers, thinkers and culture professionals of all ages who want to open up new horizons.
The forum will showcase speeches, discussions, workshops in a context that inspires the exchange on the future of culture. Teatroskop, a professional network dedicated to performing arts, invites actors in Southeastern Europe to talk about their experience of art’s political power as well as the vitality of intercultural practices in the Balkans.
European Lab Delphi is organized by the French Institute in Greece, the French cultural company Arty Farty and the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sport.
What is the European Lab?
