Greek Coast Guard launched a search and rescue operation to locate a 39-year-old seaman from Myanmar who went missing from the freighter “Louisa Schulte”, sailing in the sea area southwest of Cape Tenaro, in the Peloponnese.
According to the captain of the container ship, the seaman was last seen onboard at 10:00 this morning. The weather in the area is good with southeasterly winds reaching 5 on the Beaufort scale. A Frontex helicopter is also participating in the operation.
