A new wave of bad weather is expected to hit Greece starting this afternoon. Rainstorms and heavy snowfall are expected, mainly in the northwest part of the country.
The General Secretariat of Civil Protection has alerted the local municipalities and the government agencies to be ready for any emergencies due to weather and recommends that citizens be very careful.
In Attica the weather is expected to remain sunny with light winds from 3 to 5 on the Beaufort scale and the temperature will range from 6 to 16 degrees Celsius
Thessaloniki in the north will be partially cloudy during the day and foggy in the evening with temperatures ranging from 4 to 12 degrees Celsius.
