Greek Council of State to discuss injunction against TV licenses on January 10

The plenum of Greece’s Council of State will discuss the injunction filed by four TV broadcasters against the government’s television licensing procedure on January 10, its president Nikolaos Sakellariou said on Monday, ANA reports.

ANT1, Alpha, Star and SKAI are asking the court to freeze the tender procedure launched to auction off seven nationwide television licenses at a initial price of 35 million euros each, as well as two decisions by Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas relating to the tender.
