Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura on Friday expressed her support to Greek basketball player Thanassis Antetokounmpo, his older brother and NBA star Giannis and their family after the racist comment about Thanassis made by a television presenter on a sports programme a few day earlier, ANA reports.
In a post on her personal Twitter account, Kountoura pointed out that the Antetokounmpo brothers “@Giannis_An34 and @Thanasis_ante43 have made us proud with their sucesses. They are worthy ambassadors of the Greek tourism and show that they always have Greece in their hearts and promote at every opportunity.”
