The Greek police on Τuesday reported 188 fines written out for unauthorized movement outside of the region of residence on the previous day, according to ANA.
The violations of the ban on travel were recorded in the regions of Attica (93), in Thessaloniki (20), on Crete (13), in Central Macedonia (18), on Crete (16), in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (9), in Western Greece (8), in Epirus (6), in Central Greece (6), in Thessaly (5), in Western Macedonia (4) and in the Southern Aegean (3).
It should be noted that fines of 300 euros were imposed for these violations, while police removed the number plates of 138 vehicles for 60 days. Since the start of this measure, a total of 1,023 violations of this type have been confirmed and an equal number of 300-euro fines imposed, while in 653 cases the number plates have been removed for 60 days.
