The National Organization of Public Health (EODY) issued a press release on Wednesday afternoon, announcing 8 new coronavirus cases in Greece, thus raising the total number to 3,310, int.ert.gr reports.
Of these, 730 (22.1%) are regarded to be related to travel from abroad and 1,848 (55.8%) are related to an already known case.
There have been no deaths due to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, thus the total number of victims stays at 190.
The median age of the deceased patients was 76 years and 95.8% of them had an underlying health issue and / or were aged 70 and over.
Eight people whose median age is 61 years, remain intubated and 75.0% of them have an underlying health issue or are aged 70 years or older.
