Greek government closes down six asylum seeker hostels housed in hotels

The use of another six hotels as hostels for asylum seekers was terminated on Friday and their 250 occupants transferred to alternative hosting facilities on the mainland of Greece, ANA reports.

Three of the hotels housing asylum seekers were in the town of Grevena, two in Serres, and one in Edessa, a migration ministry announcement noted on Friday.
