Greece’s National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced on Tuesday, 416 new coronavirus cases in the country, of which 55 are associated with known clusters and 59 were identified after checks at the country’s gateways, int.ert.gr reports.
Five more people have died, which brings the total number of victims to 388. The Greek government and epidemiologists are concerned by the spike in coronavirus cases in Attica, where in the last 24 hours, 240 more infections were identified, a record number for the region. The possibility of further security measures remains open.
