Two arrests and over 1,800 fines for violating Covid-19 measures in Greece

Greek police made two arrests and handed out a total of 16 fines for breach of the pandemic rules in the operation of businesses, 371 fines for violations of curfew, and 1431 for the non-use of face masks and not observing social distancing in 46,095 checks conducted on Thursday throughout Greece to enforce rules to contain the spread of the coronavirus, ANA reports.

The authorities announced that the checks will continue for the protection of public health.
