Greek chocolate manufacturer donates 12 ICU beds to State Hospital

Greek chocolate manufacturer ION on Tuesday announced that it has contributed to the donation of 12 new ICU beds to the Nikea General Hospital in a bid to support the country’s public health system in the fight against the pandemic, ANA reports.

According to the announcement, the donation surpasses 1.5 million euros and includes the acquisition of all the special equipment needed for an ICU, covers the expense for all construction work, the necessary healthcare and hospital equipment, and any need that may arise due to the expansion of the hospital’s ICU ward.
