Some 220,000 vaccinations against Covid-19 to take place in Greece by January's end

A minimum of 220,000 vaccinations against the coronavirus is scheduled to be held in Greece by the end of January, said Health Ministry Secretary-General for Primary Health Care, Marios Themistokleous, at Monday’s regular live update on the unfolding national inoculation program, ANA reports.

It is likely, he added, that other vaccines, such as the one by pharmaceuticals manufacturer Moderna, will be delivered imminently, thus increasing the number of available vaccines for the country’s population.
