According to a previous consultation and after personal communication with General Konstantinos, the Design and Construction Unit (MOMKA) of the Greek military completed the repair and upgrade works of the stone house on Kinaros island, greekcitytimes.com reports.
This stone house is where Irini Katsotourchi lives, the only resident of the island.
The works presented particular difficulties due to chronic repair requirements and the lack of basic infrastructure on the island, according to the Greek military announcement.
The works include the strengthening of the house, construction of a new 40 sq.m, roof, and targeted building upgrades.
