An event on “Greece and France in the 19th century”, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution, is being organized by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture in Paris in collaboration with the Department of Greek Studies of the Sorbonne University, ANA reports.
The event, which will be held on Tuesday (January 11) at the Sorbonne University, is to be attended by the famous French actress Fanny Ardant, who will read texts by 19th century Greek and French poets, Jean-Luc Martinez, the honorary president-director Museum of the Louvre and Ambassador of France for International Cooperation in the Field of Cultural Heritage, and Giorgos Archimandritis, author and producer of radio documentaries and Ambassador of Culture of the Foundation in Paris.
