The new “Gener8ion” project by French-Greek filmmaker Romain Gavras, scheduled to make its premiere at Stegi of the Onassis Foundation in Athens on January 15 through February 27, has been postponed due to a new surge of the coronavirus pandemic, ANA reports.
Gavras, who has directed music videos for world-renown artists like Kanye West, M.I.A., Jay-Z, and Justice, has prepared his fresh multimedia project in co-production with Onassis Culture, French art collective Iconoclast, and music producer Surkin.
The multimedia installation was scheduled to be presented at three different Onassis Foundation locations in Athens and the Rentis district and describes a dystopian future set in the year 2034. Famous actress Charlize Theron appears in the role of an artificial intelligence scanner that collects human emotions.
