Stray puppies seek refuge in outdoor nativity scene in Greek mountain of Pelion

In a moving and somehow very appropriate Christmas scene, a group of stray puppies sought out shelter from the elements in an outdoor creche in the village of Neochori on Mount Pelion, according to greekreporter.com.

The adorable puppies kept warm and safe in the shelter of their creche, mirroring their human counterparts, Mary and Joseph. While they stayed warm there for the night, it is unknown if the puppies were later picked up by a local animal rescue or adopted.

Even though this holiday season is quite unlike any in recent memory, as the pandemic has left many ill or far away from their loved ones, there are still moments of peace and serenity that remind us of the spirit of the holidays.
