A bottle of McDonald’s Big Mac Special Sauce has received a winning bid of £65,900 on ebay.co.uk reports mirror.co.uk.
The 740ml bottle of the sauce, which has been made from a secret recipe for years, was put up for auction by the fast food chain to raise money for charity.
After a two-week bidding frenzy, the winning bidder became one of the first people in the UK to get their hands on the top-secret sauce.
McDonald’s are now trying to confirm if the bid of £65,900 ($94,923) is a genuine offer.
If it is, the winner can expect their sauce to be delivered in its own special collector’s box, and with a voucher for a free McDonald’s burger.
Earlier this year McDonald’s in Australia launched a limited number of Big Mac Special Sauce 500 ml bottles to buy for AUD$4.95 (about US$3.50).
While the recipe has been kept under wraps, videos have emerged online showing fans how to make their own.
