The GB Roof Garden restaurant for the third year in a row has received a very important distinction from ‘Wine Spectator’, one of the most popular wine magazines and is among the winners of the Wine Spectator Restaurant Award.
This year, the restaurant of the Hotel Grande Bretagne, has been awarded with the ‘Best of Award of Excellence 2016’, a distinction that honors it and sets the bar extremely high.
According to the magazine, this award was created to present the restaurants that exceed the requirements of ‘Award of Excellence 2014’.
Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.
To qualify for an award, a wine list must present complete, accurate information, including vintages and appellations for all selections. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, and the overall presentation of the list is also considered. Lists that meet these requirements are judged for one of our three awards.
