Over three long weekends in May, an old depot station in Athens will be buzzing with people, delicious flavours and cool sounds, as some of Greece’s most popular chefs and DJ’s will be participating in the 2nd Athens Street Food Festival.
After an amazingly successful and popular event last year, this Friday afternoon, will be the opening of its return for 2017. At 5pm, the festival’s doors will open to welcome visitors who are ready to taste dozens of “street food” choices.
With more than 35 stalls, special pop-up stores by famous chefs, lots of surprises and big variety of “street cuisines”, the Event offers a unique tasting opportunity that is set to satisfy all taste buds.
From Thailand to Mexico, Italy to Peru, Germany to Turkey and the USA to of course, local Greek cuisine, the event presents street flavours from all over the world, in both savoury and sweet categories. There will also be set bars with a great variety of cocktails, wine, Beer, cider and soft drinks to choose from.
