Toronto’s 24th annual “Taste of the Danforth” Greek food festival was held in Toronto from Aug 11th to Aug 13th.
A hungry crowd made its way east of the DVP to Greektown to fill up on food from local vendors. While only a smattering of the participating restaurants dished out Greek-style eats, there was still plenty to savor on at this massive street festival.
The neighbourhood is renowned as a foodie attraction brimming with Mediterranean influence, but the multicultural character of the community was on full display at this year’s Taste of the Danforth festival.
