Athens Street Food Festival roared into life on Friday, promising thousands of visitors the chance to participate in Greece’s biggest and most glamorous gastronomy event.
The festival opened its doors at the OSH Depot in Gazi, downtown Athens for three days (May 4,5,6) and will also run on May 11, 12, 13 and May 18,19 and 20 May.
The successful recipe that attracted over 100,000 visitors in the first two years of the festival will be repeated this year. Over 30 stores will feature a feast of street flavors from all over the world.
Popular chefs will offer plenty of original street-food ideas; pop-up stores open only during the festival will be offering plenty of treats, and special menus for vegetarians and vegans will be available.
This is all backed by live music, DJs as well as plenty of other live activities.
