Cyprus Agriculture Minister welcomes win-win deal on halloumi cheese

Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment, Costas Kadis welcomed a “win-win agreement” reached on Monday, that signals the compliance of all stakeholders involved in the production of PDO halloumi, CNA reports.

Halloumi or haloumi (Greek: Χαλλούμι) is a semi-hard, unripened cheese made from a mixture of goat’s and sheep’s milk, and sometimes also cow’s milk.
