The deliciousness of Greek traditional cuisine is once again recognized abroad, as can be shown on the Tasteatlas website where it was ranked second in the world on the list, protothema.gr reports.
The first place in the list of the best traditional cuisines is occupied by Italy, third is Spain, fourth is Japan, the fifth is India, sixth is Mexico, seventh is Turkey, eighth is the USA, ninth is France, and Peru closes off the top ten.
The first three places are occupied by countries from southern Europe with a strong and unchanged element of tradition, while flavors from Asia and America follow.
Evaluating the most tasteful Greek foods that gave our country second place, the website features the pistachio of Aegina, the peaches of Naoussa, the saganaki, and the bougatsa.
It is pointed out that even a few months ago, in a previous ranking, Greek cuisine was ranked number 2 in the world.
