The Trojan AHEPA Chapter 306 held its fifth annual Souvlaki Fest at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church in Troy, NY, on October 14. The AHEPA Brothers and many volunteers from the St. Basil’s community spent hours preparing for the Fest and were rewarded with a beautiful fall day. The food at the event included chicken and pork souvlaki, gyro, pastitsio, moussaka, spanakopita, dolmades, rice pilaf, Greek salad, baklava, floyeres, and rice pudding. The proceeds from this successful event will benefit the St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church building fund.
