Four Greek wineries took part in the international Wine Exhibition “ProWine Latin America 2024,” supported by Enterprise Greece, held in S?o Paulo from October 1-3, ANA reports.
According to a briefing from the Greek Embassy in Brazil, the exhibition is the largest event for the wine sector in all of Latin America. This year’s event featured four Greek companies: Malamatina Winery, Katogi Averoff Estate, Katsaros – Distillery and Dionysus Winery. The Greek companies showcased their products and engaged in business contacts with importers and distributors in Brazil.
Furthermore, the Brazilian company “Monte Dictis,” owned by a Greek expatriate, participated for the fifth consecutive year. The briefing notes that the wine market in Brazil has shown significant growth in recent years, as the country’s wine-loving community seeks experiences beyond the traditional internationally established varieties, highlighting the promising prospects for quality Greek wines.
