Air France | Business Class Culinary Experience at The Rooftop of Galeries Lafayette

Air France is once again rendezvousing with French gastronomy in Paris, this time in one of the city’s most iconic spaces. From June 25 to August 20, 2025, the airline is reopening the doors of its pop-up restaurant, this time on the eighth floor of the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store, offering a unique experience that combines the gastronomy of the air with a panoramic view of the City of Light.

In-flight dining – but with a view of the Eiffel Tower

Air France’s pop-up restaurant, which last year wowed the crowds at the Palais de Tokyo during the Olympic Games, returns this year with a revamped menu, with limited seating — just twenty — and a high-end menu worthy of the airline’s long-haul Business Class. This year’s location, at The Rooftop of Galeries Lafayette, offers guests a unique setting with the Parisian rooftops, Montmartre, and the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.

The restaurant’s atmosphere reflects Air France’s elegance: shades of dark blue, white, and red create a sophisticated space reminiscent of the airline’s lounges, with an emphasis on privacy and relaxation. Located outdoors, it also features a seating area with sun loungers so guests can enjoy their meal in comfort and style.

High gastronomy with the signature of top names

The pop-up restaurant’s menu was created in collaboration with Servair, which specializes in airline catering. It includes an appetizer, main course, cheese selection, and dessert, served in the manner offered in a Business Class cabin, on a tray, and with service designed by Jean-Marie Massaud.

The dishes bear the stamp of R?gis Marcon, one of France’s leading chefs with three Michelin stars. His recipes are inspired by nature and the culinary traditions of the Auvergne-Rh?ne-Alpes region, including options with meat, poultry, fish, and vegetarian dishes.

The dessert is curated by Nina M?tayer, who has been declared the Best Pastry Chef in the World (2023), offering sweet creations that combine technique and imagination, in complete harmony with the rest of the menu.

To accompany the meal, guests have at their disposal a curated list of French wines and champagnes, created by Xavier Thuizat, head sommelier of Air France and the luxurious H?tel de Crillon. He himself was named Best Sommelier of France in 2022. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available for those who want an alternative proposal.

An experience that combines taste and lifestyle

The restaurant is open daily (except Tuesday), from 11:30 to 15:30, and reservations are required. The cost of the meal is 93 euros and includes all drinks, making the experience affordable by the standards of fine dining in Paris.

For Air France, the return of this restaurant concept confirms its strategy to strengthen the brand through experience, not only in flight, but also on the ground. The partnership with Galeries Lafayette, one of the most recognizable names in fashion and lifestyle in France, is another step in this direction.

Galeries Lafayette: more than a department store

With a history of over 130 years and a network of 67 stores worldwide, Galeries Lafayette is not just a shopping destination, but a complete experience combining fashion, art, design, and gastronomy. The Rooftop, a reference point for visitors to the city, occasionally hosts unique collaborations, always offering something special.

The partnership with Air France is an elegant marriage of the French art de vivre with a premium travel experience, highlighting Paris as an international pole of attraction for those seeking the refined and authentic.
