Spyros Mavroeidis signs the kitchen, Marios Vokris leads the bar, and Sanchez once again becomes a complete Latin entertainment destination in Neo Psychiko
Sanchez – now Sanchez Barra & Cantina Mexicana – leaves its “Dirty” past behind and returns in a more mature, warm version. You walk in and feel that the setting has softened without losing its energy: warm terracotta tones, wooden tables, woven chairs, black-and-white tiles, crystal chandeliers and a disco ball winking from the ceiling. At the back, the tropical bar with green stools and pink lighting around the tequila shelves creates the ideal canvas for contemporary comfort Mexican.

Chef Spyros Mavroeidis, known from Nikkei, PatPong and Wild Poppies, with a background in fusion cuisines, ceviche and bold acidity, signs the menu once again. Here, he translates his experience into a more extroverted Latin expression: tacos with chicken al pastor or caramelized pork with kimchi and pineapple, flat iron Black Angus in tacos de res barbacoa, fajitas with perfectly grilled meat and adobo sauce, passion ceviche with sea bream, sweet potato and leche de tigre, along with crispy nachos with queso fundido or chili con carne.

Chef Giorgos Nikas handles execution, keeping the flavors clean and balanced, with fresh coriander, smoked peppers and house-made sauces setting the tone for dishes meant for sharing, the kind that spread across the center of the large wooden table and disappear quickly. The finale belongs to desserts such as churros with dulce de leche and chocolate, or the indulgent chocolate moelleux with salted caramel ice cream.
At the bar, Marios Vokris continues to build around tequila and mezcal with cocktails designed to pair with the food, from the classic margarita to more “twisted” recipes, always leaving room for tailor-made creations.
The new Sanchez does not settle for great food: it aims to evolve into a complete entertainment destination, with carefully curated music, lively atmosphere and themed nights. Every Friday and Saturday, a live duo with guitar and percussion, accompanied by dancers, transports guests – even for a few hours – to the colorful neighborhoods of Latin America.
