Another four hotels hosting asylum seekers closed in Kozani, Edessa, Prespes and Grevena, a Migration and Asylum Ministry announcement said on Friday. The 169 asylum seekers hosted at these hotels were sent to hosting structures in the mainland, ANA reports.
A total of 12 hotels that hosted asylum seekers have closed from mid-July while another 55 are still operating. The ministry’s plan is to close all the hotels that host asylum seekers by the end of the year.
