As many as seven new names in the overall top ten rankings for Greece for the fortnight from October 5 – 18, based on enquiries in the Traveltainment reservations system used by German travel agents and online booking engines.
These were the Mitsis Faliraki Beach (3rd) and the Mitsis Rinela Beach, the Costa Lindia Beach Resort, the Ikaros Beach Luxury Resort & Spa, the Kalithea Horizon Royal, the Royal Belvedere and the LTI Asterias Beach Resort.
Winter holidays
Top place was taken by the Lyttos Beach ahead of the Lindos Princess Beach. For families, the top three were the same as in the overall ranking, while the Lyttos Beach, Kalithea Horizon Royal and the Mitsis Faliraki Beach had the most enquiries from couples.
Furthermore, the latest fvw Hotelometer ranking pointed out that hotels suited for winter holidays are being sought by German consumers in Greece, Turkey and Spain.

The fvw Hotelometer is a fortnightly ranking of the most popular tourist hotels in Spain, Turkey and Greece, based on all enquiries in the Traveltainment reservations system used by German travel agents and online booking engines. The data, supplied by IT company TrevoTrend and split into different categories (overall, families, couples, singles and star ratings), thus reflect demand trends but do not show actual bookings.
