Santorini island in Greece is among the top 2016 summer vacation destinations for Indians, according to TripAdvisor®, the travel planning and booking site’s Summer Vacation Value Report, revealing the top 10 destinations for Indian travellers this summer based on booking interest, along with the average one-week vacation costs for hotels, airfare and meals.
The seasonal report helps travellers discover savings at popular travel destinations by highlighting the least expensive week to visit, highly-rated value hotels and popular attractions.
“This is the peak travel time in India considering the break from schools and colleges. The Summer Vacation Value report with the top destinations and the least expensive summer week is a perfect guide to help one plan and book the summer travel be it in India or outside however, the scale tips heavily in favor of domestic destinations. Travellers can use the findings in the report to save up to 28% for domestic and 32% for international destinations during the least expensive summer week compared to the peak seasonal rates” said Nikhil Ganju, Country Manager, TripAdvisor India.
