Greece most popular destination for Polish travelers, up by 4% in 2016

The President of the Polish Tour Operators Association (PZOT) and CEO of Neckermann Poland, Krzysztof Piatek noted during a meeting with the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Tourist & Travel Agencies (fedHATTA) that Greece is the most popular destination for Polish travelers.

Mr Piatek added that according to recent data, Polish tourists to Greece grew by 4% compared to the same period last year.

FEDHATTA’s president Lysandros Tsilidis suggested for PZOT members to attend an organized visit to Greece in the near future in order to enhance ties between the Greek Federation and PZOT developing thus tourism cooperation between the two countries while 

Mr Piatek, Andrzej Szostek from the Polish Embassy’s Trade and Investment Promotion Section, Lysandros Tsilidis, president of FedHATTA, Yiorgos Paliouras, board member of FedHATTA, and Leonidas Babanis, CEO of North Events participated in the meeting which took place in the offices of fedHATTA in Athens and agreed to meet again in early December at the Grecka Panorama exhibition in Warsaw.
