Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura on Friday met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexei Volkov with whom she discussed the possibilities of enhancing bilateral tourism cooperation.
More specifically, they examined the timetable for signing a MoU on tourism cooperation between Greece and Kazakhstan. They also discussed prospects for strengthening air links beyond the summer season, with the aim of increasing tourist flows throughout the year.
The minister also received the Ambassador of Qatar, Abdulaziz Ali Al-Naama, who briefed her on the plans and proposals concerning the promotion of new Greek destinations to Qatar tourists.
