Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura and Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic penned an agreement of cooperation in the framework of the 1st Greek-Serbia High-Level Council.
The agreement provides for the enhancement of the cooperation between the national tourist authorities of the two countries aiming at the promotion of tourism, tourism education and training, the exchange of statistics and information on legislation and the promotion of specific types of tourism. In addition, they agreed to encourage and mutually facilitate tourist investments, as well as the cooperation between the national associations of travel and tourism agencies, tourist organizations and businesses of both countries.
“The agreement is very important as it has increased tourist flows in both countries. We have assumed the responsibility to support this dynamic and further strengthen it,” Kountoura noted.
