Tourist arrivals in Cyprus during the first half of 2017 reached a new historic record, on the backdrop of a record year in 2016, according to data released on Monday by the Statistical Service (Cystat)
Arrivals for the period of January – June rose to 1,463,206 marking an increase of 16.6% compared with the respective period of 2016.
“This figure outnumbered the total arrivals ever recorded in Cyprus in the first six months of the year,” Cystat noted.
