Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism Yiorgos Lakkotrypis has welcomed the record tourist arrivals on the island and the revenue, saying that the initiatives and actions of all involved should continue.
He also said that both the government and foreign firms estimated that the growth rate of the Cypriot economy is expected to be between 2.5% and 3%, one of the largest in the EU.
