Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura met with Italian ambassador Luigi Marras to discuss about further enhancing Greek-Italian cooperation in the sector of tourism. Their meeting followed Mrs. Kountoura’s contacts with her Italian counterpart, Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Dario Franceschini, at the High-Level Greek-Italian Cooperation Council that was held in Corfu, in September.
The principal issues discussed were the potential and the cooperation perspectives for the enhancement of tourism and the promotion of thematic tourism, focused on the promotion of natural and cultural resources.
