Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Terens Quick is leading a business mission to African countries organised by the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and the Greek-African Chamber.
Quick will visit South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique, commencing with Johannesburg.
A ministry’s announcement noted that the mission is the result of a series of meetings and deliberations of the Greek minister with ministers and officials from the three African countries, with aim the updating of diplomatic and political relations and the extroversion of the Greek economy.
The official opening of a business forum in Johannesburg is being organized on Wednesday. A series of business meetings in Johannesburg, Gaborone (Botswana) and Maputo (Mozambique) are included in the minister’s programme, along with meetings with officials from the three countries’ governments.
During his visit to South Africa, the Greek minister is also expected to take part the annual General Assembly of the Federation of Greek Communities and Associations of South Africa.
