There was a record of tourist arrivals in Cyprus last November and during the first 11 months of 2017, according to figures released by the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus.
On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 144.676 in November 2017, compared to 124.192 in November 2016, recording a rise of 16.5%.
“November 2017 had the highest volume of tourist arrivals ever recorded in Cyprus during the specific month” the announcement notes.
For the period of January – November 2017 arrivals of tourists totaled 3,553,149 compared to 3,098,604 in the corresponding period of 2016, recording a rise of 14.7% and outnumbering the total arrivals ever recorded in Cyprus during the first eleven months of the year.
Tourist arrivals from the United Kingdom grew by 18.4%
