Greek-British co-operation on film, e-government and telecoms

The new legislation offering incentives to attract foreign audiovisual productions to Greece and issues relating to digital policy and telecommunications were discussed in a meeting between Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas and the U.K.’s Minister for Digital and the Creative Industries, Margot James, in London, ANA reports.

The two sides exchanged views on the development and introduction of new technologies in public administration and everyday life. Pappas presented the Electronic Document Handling and Remote Digital Signature system, which is already in operation at the Greek ministry and will be extended to the rest of the public sector in a program amounting to 22 million euros, which is expected to be entered into a tender during February.
