Complete comeback of Greek island of Kos in Netherlands and Germany

The strong rebound of Kos as a destination for German and Dutch tourists is recorded in airline programs and tour operator demand for the island this summer, according to Deputy Mayor for Tourism Elias Sifakis.

Corendon Dutch Airlines added two flights per week from Maastricht to Kos as part of its flight schedule for 2018. Both flights will commence on April 21.

New flights are also being launched by Eurowings from Hannover and Nuremberg to Kos.

It is also indicative that tour operator DER Touristik raised impressively its airline capacity and seats for Kos from Berlin.

“The effort made by Kos to showcase its tourist identity is paying off. All together, in unity, we are boosting our island,” commented Mr Sifakis.
