Slovak ambassador to Greece, Iveta Hricova, met with local government officials in Chania, Crete, on Friday where they discussed ways of boosting ties between the central European nation and the Greek island, according to ANA.
Along with the counsellor of the Slovak Republic in Crete, Stavros Paterakis, Hricova met with deputy governor of Crete, Apostolos Voulgarakis, where they discussed prospects of the two area working together. There was a special weight given to research and innnovation between the universities and technological institutions in the two areas, while they also discussed ways of cooperating in tourism and culture.
