Beijing was presented on Tuesday as a popular tourism destination at a special event that was held at Zappeion Hall with the participation of Greece’s tourism ministry, the ambassador of China and officials from the Greek and Chinese tourism sector, ANA reports.
Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee member Cai Qi Zhang Shuofu pointed that the friendship between Greece and China spans over 2,000 years and he focused on the importance of the cooperation between the two nations in tourism.
Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura said that with strong political will bilateral ties can improve, highlighting that Greece is a bridge between Asia and Europe.
