Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura met on Monday with her South Korean counterpart Do Jong-hwan on the sidelines of the 7th World Congress of the UN World Tourism Organisation taking place in Seoul, ANA reports. Both agreed to join forces to support the start of a direct Seoul-Athens flight in 2019.
In addition to the direct air link, the two officials discussed the potential of a two-way increase of tourist flows, and the exchange of knowhow in issues of tourism development, with emphasis on city-break trips and the different kinds of alternative tourism.
