Greek Shipping Minister Fotis Kouvelis met with Chinese Transport Minister Li Xiaopeng on Monday where they agreed to boost bilateral strategic ties in the areas of shipping, ports, investments, between the two nations as well as at a European Union and China level.
The Chinese minister spoke about the geostrategic choices behind China’s decision to enhance economic and commercial ties between the two nations and described Cosco’s investments at the port of Piraeus as being a model strategic investment.
