Newly appointed Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdiοs referred to the need of diversifying Cyprus’ tourist product and investing in the competitive advantages of the country, during his first meeting with the Parliamentary Committee on Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism, CNA reports.
As he noted, Cyprus should invest in its competitive advantages such as the climate, hospitality and the plethora of experiences it could offer, beyond the sun and the sea.
He added that the Deputy Ministry has started a round of contacts with all stakeholders to gather insights and be able to shape its strategy over the next few months.
