Deputy Minister for Tourism Savvas Perdios held contacts with Tourist Organizations in China and Dubai, n the context of the Ministry’s main objectives to attract tourist flows from distant destinations and the counties of the Persian Gulf and the Middle East which are considered suitable for short-term holidays to Cyprus, CNA reports.
The contacts in China focused on ways to attain closer cooperation between the two counties in the field of Tourism, with the Deputy Minister ascertaining that the preconditions for the upgrading of the tourist ties are in place, as there is will and firm interest from both sides.
