Outgoing French Ambassador to Greece, Christophe Chantepy, referred to the “warm Greek-French relations,” and the fact that the Greek economy had “taken off”, as well as “unity” in Europe during the opening of the annual celebration for the anniversary of July 14 (Bastille Day) in the gardens of the French Archeological School, ANA reports.
The ambassador’s speech at the event, which took place on Thursday night, began with a reference to the storm that hit Chalkidiki, saying that “our thoughts tonight are with those who have been hit by the catastrophic tornado.”
