Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Nikolaos Dimitrov commenced his speech at the Economist conference in Athens on Wednesday by expressing his pleasure to be in the birthplace of democracy, according to ANA.
He added that this was his first visit to Athens following the July 7 general elections and he wished the new Greek government the best of luck and many good moments.
Dimitrov pointed out this was a “moment of hope” and noted that there were opportunities for Greece, adding that “when good things happen in Greece, it is good for us and for the whole region.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, referring to the Prespes Agreement, stressed that “it is good to have friends.”
