Greek Tourism Minister Haris Theocharis attended the 26th International Tourism Exhibition IMTM 2020 in Tel Aviv and met with his Israeli counterpart Yariv Levin with whom they agreed on the need for further strengthening relations between the two countries, ANA reports.
During his two-day visit to Israel, Theocharis had a series of meetings with tour operators and agents.
“Almost one million Israelis spent their holidays in Greece in 2019. Our aim is to attract even more tourists. Israel tourists visiting Greece are on the uprise and Israelis love Greece and want to invest in it,” Theocharis noted.
